Capital City River Port + Sandbox

Description
This is the first map made for my "Real World Maps 4 You" YouTube series. It is a LARGE, 1:3 Vanilla Map.

It is the result of a heightmap made using Google Maps and Tangrams Heightmapper, of the area along the Brisbane River from the City (and Toowong) to the Port.

ALL streets, highways and freeways... and TUNNELS are included!

These are 100% Player Owned so the AI can't make any NEW roads - fingers crossed :)

You WILL need the SANDBOX to progress further with this map as NO TOWNS or INDUSTRIES have been included. 

Apart from the transport networks included, it's a blank slate for you to develop the Capital City and its port areas as you see fit :)

Note: The various RAIL routes are shown on the map as small country roads.

Starting date = 1980

@Don't Panic - that's not planned for at the moment. This version is for people to "play" with in the sandbox/editor and add the towns and industries themselves.

Are you planning to make a version of this map (like the Newcastle map) that includes the suburbs as towns and industries?

@JoTrain Thanks mate. And I only "just" included that line :) Probably could've angled the map a little further to get more of the Cleveland line in! Next time? LOL

As a fellow Transport Fever 2 modder who makes Brisbane content, it’s awesome to see a 1:1 accurate Brisbane map! really great work! Love seeing more Aussie representation in the game

Love that you included the Cleveland line in there too as that’s my local train line! 🇦🇺
