Inspired by the renowned Horizon-class and named in honor of Major Theresa Mirelle, the brilliant commander who secured victory at the Battle of Actium, the Mirelle-class cruiser represents a refined balance of precision, survivability, and sensor superiority. Where brute force falls short, the Mirelle-class prevails through superior awareness and precise application of firepower.

Like its forebear, the Mirelle-class carries four missile tubes, giving it substantial long-range strike capability. However, unlike heavier cruisers, its conventional firepower is deliberately restrained. Instead of overwhelming batteries, the ship mounts three high-precision railguns, designed for focused, high-impact engagements against key targets rather than area suppression.

What defines the Mirelle-class is its exceptional sensor and targeting technology. Outfitted with a highly advanced long-range sensor suite and enhanced multi-band radar systems, it excels at early detection, threat tracking, and coordinated fleet support. Acting as a forward scout, targeting relay, or strike platform, the Mirelle-class often serves as the center of a battlegroup—pinpointing threats and guiding missiles to lethal effect.

Agile, resilient, and tactically flexible, the cruiser is ideally suited to roles where intelligence, speed, and precision take precedence over raw firepower.

The MKII received a minor refit, adding two additional assault cannon turrets.
