Description
Improves game performance (around 30% for me) by reducing total ship count.

Starbases and defense platforms are unaffected.
No changes to ship_sizes.txt.

AI and player only — Fallen Empires, Marauders, Crisis, etc. are unaffected

Key changes:

x5 hull, armor, shield, and weapon damage — higher fleet power per ship

x5 build cost, upkeep, and naval cap usage (not command limit) — fewer ships overall

No localization needed.

Lightweight, highly compatible. Overrides only two static_modifiers entries: player_empire and playable_ai_empire (irony tells no conflict for 100+ mods).

An interesting idea, but from a quick test, the fact it only modifies you and the AI is a little... weird. Suddenly Corvettes are nearly strong enough to solo some of the space fauna in the wild right away, and I can see this making some of the Leviathans and such significantly less scary then they 'should' be narratively.
