how to remove mod?

This is a common behavior if you are subscribed to an older mod which isn't maintained and kept compatible with the latest version of the game.
To remove them follow these steps:
• Open your Steam library and select Brotato
• Click on "Workshop"
• Open the dropdown under "Your Workshop Files" called "Your Files"
• Select "Subscribed Items"
• Click on the Button "Unsubscribe From All"
• Start Brotato again and check if the issue is resolved

Once confirmed that the game is working:
• Install Mods 1-by-1 and open Brotato each time to confirm their working status.
• Pay attention to Mods that show that they haven't been updated at least once this Year, as they're likely incompatible at this point.
• If the game breaks/You receive an error message on the Brotato Start Menu, look through the error message to find the offending Mod causing the error, and Unsubscribe from it.
