Norse Dwarf Extended:Wanderers of the Karaz Ankor - English Localisation submod

Description
Just an alternate English text translation for the awesome Norse Dwarf Extended:Wanderers of the Karaz Ankor mod.

Just trying to keep it thematic, and no offence to others out there, and even to the original, but names like Hobbs for Harald's mount (though nothing wrong with it) just breaks immersion for me.

- Hobbs is more a southern, more Old Germanic, Normans sounding name, rather than Khazalid. So for my own flavour in Khazalid theme the old goat is known as: Grungaz, roughly translates to "Grugni's beast".

- Ram riders: now Snow Peak (inspired by RagnaroK thematic translation) Throngaz Riders.
(Throngaz roughly translates/implies: War/Battle Rams)

There's a few more here and there that I'll let you discover on your own. (Please note some naming conventions are inspired by RagnaroK's interpetation ie: Huscarls for the Upland warriors/guard, etc.)

The main differences I made are to the blurbs/excerpts of unit description to fit the Warhammer theme more.
(Thank you Joseph from HK for your patience...pls don't hate me, pls answer my calls...you old git)

Any suggestions or corrections jot them down below in the comments. I may or may not ignore them...(wink)

This can probably be used alongside RagnaroK's version to take advantage of his amendments but it has to be on top.

NB: I am no Modder, I just Tinker...therefore I am.

Norse Dwarfs
Long ago, the ancestors of these warriors ventured into the Norscan mountains and became trapped. Isolated from their kin for countless years, they gradually developed distinct customs and culture. Compared to their distant relatives, their appearance and weaponry more closely resemble the Norscans of this harsh, frozen land.

Contents

1 Legendary Lord:
[North Sea Thunderbolt] Harald Goldbeard
From the frozen tundras to the coastal edges, the army of the "Ruthless" vows to crush all threats to the Sons of the Mountains.
(Code: to_pool general ghs_norse_harald)

10 New Units:
Norse Dwarf warriors differ from their distant kin. Rather than holding ground, they excel in offense.

5 New Events:
Including Norse Dwarf Beer Festival and recruitment events.

Independent Building and Event Recruitment Pool:
(Accessed via Malakai’s campaign)
For compatibility, these contents are integrated into Malakai’s campaign. Malakai can recruit the Legendary Lord Harald Goldbeard from the lord recruitment pool. The event-based recruitment pool will appear in the elite recruitment pool after recruiting the legendary lord.

Much appreciated, RagnaroK. Coming from the legend himself that's a big compliment.

TBH with you when I was younger, I was too poor to have an army myself. I "played" with friends who introduced me to Warhammer which I fell in love with as I was into medieval history, and fantasy.

I was only a reader and a painter really and I avidly poured through my mates' White Dwarfs and borrowed books from the library. Nowadays, there's a plethora of sources and literature to choose from...even audio books...now of which I can somewhat afford...:steamhappy:

Really like the implementation of WH lore for inspiration mate, very cool! That is something I never managed as I only ever played some of their games as a young kid. The more lore accurate/resemblance the better in my humble opinion :lunar2019piginablanket:

Excuse me for constant updates. Found a few strings missed or that reverted somehow back to original entries...I'm not really sure. Maybe, I shouldn't drink too much of the Bugman's brew whilst reading simplified Chinese...
