Project Cook Extension: Nutrients Sorting [B42]

Description
Enhance your cooking experience with intelligent ingredient sorting based on nutritional values!

Instead of manually checking each ingredient's stats, this extension adds clickable nutrition icons in the cooking interface that instantly sort available ingredients by the selected value.

Features
  • Click nutrition icons to sort ingredients by nutritional values
  • Support for 8 nutrition types: calories, proteins, fats, carbs, hunger, thirst, boredom, unhappiness
  • Toggle sorting on/off by clicking same icon twice
  • Clean integration with Project Cook mod interface

Installation
  1. Subscribe to this mod on Steam Workshop
  2. Ensure [B42]Project Cook V2.0 subscribed and enabled
  3. Enable both mods in your mod list
  4. Start cooking with enhanced nutritional sorting!

How to Use
  1. Open the Project Cook interface as normal (the 1st Base Cooking tab)
  2. Click any nutrition icon on the Cooking Info panel (calories, proteins, fats, etc.)
  3. Ingredients automatically sort by the selected nutrient (highest first)
  4. Click the same icon again to clear sorting

Thanks for that Information. I Play on the ROG Ally. But there is also an cursor Mode.

@Michaston, I just tested it with an Xbox controller. In short, it’s not supported because the custom UI layout of the parent mod (Project Cook) doesn’t allow controller navigation. I can’t even open the cook menu with the controller, and if I try combining mouse and controller—opening the menu with the mouse—there’s no way to navigate through the panel UI using the controller.

However, it should work on the Steam Deck in cursor mode (I haven’t tested that yet, but I can if that’s your setup).

Did you not see a message during subscription saying that Project Cook is required? Normally it doesn’t appear if you already have it installed.
