Literally nothing is known about Mashumaro. Absolute enigma.

Wait.. Herbert JUNIOR? Is that you along for the ride?? Is Mashumaro a marsupial? No.. no.. only Kangaroos and Painter Bosses are marsupials, I thought. There's no way that satchel is built into its body, right?

Yea whatever this thing is a total enigma, let's just take peace in not knowing what is going on.
