Japanese Government Railways Horoha5700(5700~5707) , Horoha5710(5710~5718)

Around 1897, bogie coaches with open decks at both ends and aisles for moving to neighboring coaches began to appear on the Japanese Government Railways. Since there are so many types of these coaches with open decks built around 1897~1907, I plan to publish several types of coaches at once in several mods. This mod is the fifth one. Two types (Horoha5700 and Horoha5710) from the Type 5700 and Type 5710 carriages and some of their converted carriages will be treated. (In addition, I will add some types of coaches after modification in the future, but I have not yet decided on a specific date.)

The below is a brief description of the Horoha5700 and the Horoha5710.
○Horoha5700 (5700~5707) Type5700
Second- and third-class combined bogie coaches manufactured at the Shinbashi factory. Both second- and third-class interiors have a combination of long seats and booth seats. The second-class compartment is narrower and the third-class compartment is wider, and the second-class compartment is about half as wide as that of the Horoha5710. The position of the toilet is correspondingly off-center, giving it a distinctive appearance. After undergoing interior and other modifications in the mid-Taisho era (1912-1926), all or most of them were converted to third-class mail combination coaches of type 8140 (Hohayufu8140) at the end of the Taisho era (about 1924~1925), and the type was changed. At the same time, the 2nd generation Horoha 5700, converted from the Horo5500, etc., was introduced, but this mod does not deal with it here.
○Horoha5710(5710~5718) Type5710
Second- and third-class combined bogie coaches manufactured at the Shinbashi factory. The interior of both second- and third-class carriages have a combination of long seats and booth seats. Unlike the Horoha5700, the second and third class are separated in the center, and each is equally spacious. In the mid-Taisho era (around 1918), the interior was modified and the deck was changed to no longer be an open type. Later, at the end of the Taisho era (about 1924~1926), they were converted to third-class baggage combined coaches, and their type was changed.

This mod will add a total of 6 passenger car variations, 3 variations of the Horoha5700 and 3 variations of the Horoha5710, with differences in paint and signage depending on the era. Below is a list of the Horoha5700 and Horoha5710 variations. Hobo5 and Hobo25 are not type names, but numbers of cars to be added with this mod. Variations from the Late Meiji to Early Taisho era appear up to the year of the first modification in order to be combined with other mods.
