Changes the tech tree unlocks for deep ocean travel and unit embarkment.


* All Units ignore Movement penalties from Open Ocean terrain
Moved from SHIP BUILDING to CARTOGRAPHY

*All embarked Land Units may enter Open Ocean terrain
Moved from SHIP BUILDING MASTERY to SHIP BUILDING

Hopefully these changes allow for a quicker discovery of new continents, especially on bigger maps.

The changes aren't applying when I transition to the exploration age, only if I start in the exploration age.

@Sabre: he surely could by attaching the necessary effects to later technologies. But this would require a separate mod, I suppose.
I suppose if you study his code and exchange the chosen technologies with those later ones you'd like to attach these effects to, you could relatively easy do that yourself.

Can you also do the opposite: So ocean exploration is a bit delayed?
