Important Notice to Everyone
We are working on an improved version of this map, until it is complete this map will remain unlisted. We tried to recreate some of the core systems to make a really awesome experience for everyone but it resulted in a couple crashing issues. Since we hold ourselves responsible and wish for the best experience for everyone we are working on fixes and improvements to the map. If you wish to play the map right now just know that there may still be issues with crashing around the lava parkour (so don't fall lol).

We recommend you wait for the big update in future. Thanks for your patience.

In the 5th NoahJ456 Mapping Contest, REX and I crafted Trials of Sorrow in just 30 days, an adventure born from Unreal Engine's richest assets and a bold plan.

Your journey begins in a vibrant hallway, mocked by a taunting narrator, before pressing a fateful button that lands you on a rocky beach where Noah's crashed boat lies stranded. Solve a cunning puzzle to escape to an ancient temple, where 6 thrilling challenges await: uncover a hidden symbol Easter egg, navigate two perilous lava parkour courses, break out of a claustrophobic bunker, and hunt parts to craft the mythical Living Rifle. Across various distinct zones, a plethora of hand-placed assets weave a haunting yet dazzling world. Face a custom-scripted, voiced boss with 4 attack phases in a massive arena, backed by some incredible audio. Your descent into chaos will test your skill and nerve. Good Luck Soldier!

crash at lava parkour area i have latest version just downloaded it a couple hours ago. also dont know if its the map or my game but i get ui error anytime i put guns down on those box things

Crashing at lava parkour and if u have to restart the map a couple of times the commentary becomes annoying

Sorry to hear if you are having issues with the map crashing. Please contact myself or REX on discord and we would love to get you to play with a logfile enabled so we can find the error and fix the map. Seems a rare few are running into crashing still.

There’s no way it’s crashing, we fixed the element pool issue which was causing that crash. Try making sure you have the latest version.

I think the crashing for me is coming directly from the parkour. My memory isn't that great and I attempted the 1st parkour many many times. It crashes every time, after 15 or 20 attempts. I've tried this on 4 separate runs now and it crashed every time. Messed up thing is that on one run I was 1 away from finishing the parkour. Hardest parkour ever for me because of my memory lol. Don't know if I want to upload my attempts but can send you the link to video in private if I decide not to upload it.... Sucks really wanted to try the boss fight! Gg's again bro!
