Description
Another classic jetliner, this time the original model of the iconic Boeing 737, in the years before it became the best selling commercial airliner of all time!

The Boeing 737 is one of the first twin engine jetliners to be made, with the original models releasing in 1968, alongside its biggest competitor, the Douglas DC-9 shortly after. These new 737s proved to be incredibly rugged, reliable, and easy to maintain, making it an easy choice for the many new airlines taking form at the beginning of the jet age. These original models sold well, giving boeing reason to continue to update the design, but it wouldnt be until the later 737 models - the classics and NGs - where the plane would become so ubiquitous in the skies.

this build was created with intent of being relatively low brick for a scale airliner, at 1600 bricks without livery and interior, though this version slightly negates that increasing the brick count by 900. The flight controls were created by Kam, and this project was somewhat their idea too.

Controls: EXTRA IMPORTANT!

Kam made me a basic autopilot with 3 control switches in the cockpit right in front of the driver's seat.

Autothrottle flies the plane at a selected speed, shown in on the number displays in the cockpit.
Switching to manual throttle ignores this speed and simply works how you are used to throttle in this game.

Altitude hold automatically keeps the altitude you are at when selecting the switch

Direction Hold automatically keeps your current heading, and levels the wings when selecting the switch

Kam says "always try to use Auto Throttle when taking off, and Direction Hold doesnt work well without Altitiude Hold on as well."

the rest of the controls are basic.

AltMouse Pitch/roll
A/D yaw
W/S throttle
AltAux flaps
B landing lights
L nose lights
K Nav lights
I landing gear
I (Hold) Cabin window lights (exterior detail)
Fire1 Spoilers
