Description
"What would happen if you met an insanely ugly woman, so ugly that you started to go insane simply when she touched or spit on you...?"


Well, this one is a spitter variant that's a pin type. She's so ugly that she can make a survivor go crazy for awhile when touching her spit or hands :D . Her abilities are similar to "Dancer Boomer" with slight differences on the mechanisms. I'll explain this later on the mechanisms.


List of features available on "insanely ugly spitter.txt" cfg file:
  1. Insanely Ugly Spitter Chance: The spawn chance of this spitter variant.

  2. Fatal Insanity: This is disabled by default. When enabled, survivors stepping on her spit will go insane until they're incapacitated or when there's charger/ smoker nearby.

  3. Insanity On Normal Attack: When enabled, this spitter's normal attack can cause insanity. The value is the chance. Min= 0, max = 100 (100% chance).

  4. Spawn Notification: Enabled by default. Disable this if you want to hide the spawn notification.


Mechanisms of "Insanely Ugly Spitter":
  • This spitter will spawn based on "Insanely Ugly Spitter Chance".

  • She has 200 health. This health modification doesn't affect normal spitter.

  • She has 50% evasion rate (50% chance to ignore damage). This doesn't affect normal spitter.

  • Her spit is "nerfed" to be only 3 seconds after it successfully hits a survivor. If it doesn't hit, the duration is based on the default acid duration.

  • She gets some buffs like:
    1. Attracts horde when her acid hits a survivor.
    2. Causes "insanity" debuff/ pin on a survivor stepping on her acid.

  • "Insanity" makes a survivor dance crazily. Different from "Dancer Boomer", survivors under "Insanity" state can still move, but they can't use weapons at all (see the fun animation previews).

  • There are several ways to stop the "Insanity" debuff:
    1. Kill spitter= You only get 3 seconds of debuff (only when "Fatal Insanity" is off).
    2. Approach charger/ smoker= Instant debuff removal.
    3. Escape & hide= 10 seconds of max debuff duration (only when "Fatal Insanity" is off).

  • If "Fatal Insanity" is on, the "Insanity" debuff lasts until either the survivor is incapacitated or meets charger/ smoker in close range. Additional penalty on "Fatal Insanity": Horde will be called every 20 seconds in 1 minute.

  • Jockey can ride the "insane" survivor, with his a*s on the face :D .

  • Special case for bots: Somehow bots can't move although the debuff settings are the same (probably the default AI behavior when in pinned state).


With this along with "Dancer Boomer", you can have all special infected as pin-type.
