The First Electric Train in Perth, Western Australia
The Transperth A-series is a fleet of electric multiple units built between 1990 and 1999 by Walkers Limited in Maryborough, Queensland, in collaboration with ABB. These trains were the first electric trains introduced to Perth's suburban network, designed specifically for the electrification of the system in the early 1990s.

Update – 7 July 2025:
• Added name number display on the front and sides of the Transperth A Series train
• Made minor texture tweaks (making things more metallic and reflective)
• Fixed missing windows from left interior doors

Update – 8 July 2025:
• Trailer car (AEB) was unintentionally changed to the pantograph car model (AEA) when fixing doors, this has been fixed.

Update – 10 July 2025:
• Restored the wheel ringing sound that was unintentionally removed in a prior update.
• Corrected Asset Construction Icons that were previously displaying incorrectly.

@Pinkedpoo yeah, I don’t really have a set schedule for any specific train, it’s just whenever I’m motivated to work on it 😅
That said, I’d do want to venture into buildings too instead of solely vehicles, such as a busway station or even South Brisbane Station, so it would probably be after them

📢 Quick update on the mod!:

I’ve just updated the Transperth A Series so the name number now shows on the front and sides of the train.

I’ve also made a few minor texture tweaks, things should look a bit more metallic and reflective now. You might notice the wheels actually look like proper metal now.
