The Sako M23 is a next-generation Finnish assault rifle developed by Sako Ltd, designed to meet the evolving needs of modern military forces. Chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO (with a 7.62mm version also available), the M23 is highly modular, reliable, and combat-proven. Built on the AR platform but enhanced with Scandinavian engineering, it features free-floating barrels, ambidextrous controls, and full Picatinny/MLok compatibility. Selected by the Finnish Defence Forces as their new standard service rifle, the M23 combines northern toughness with tactical precision.
