1. Neither party makes money off of it. ( And the Original Content)
2. Corey and Original Publishers are credited
3. There are no easy access steam version of this mod version
4. It is required for many now defunct versions of sub-mods
5. It's required for his Sub-mod
6. We do the same thing with actually published games
7. There is a massive movement in Europe to preserve games and most people support it, this mod is no different then that LBH.
8. It's more accessible for people coming back to this game because of the 5 person free for all mod that was created by this user.
9. ITs not Copyright unless Cory and his team makes money off of it and or filed his creation with USPTO, Which would strike it down since the mod infringes on star wars and Lucas films since its using its setting and story...
I am a mod developer, and have made submods for thrawns revenge. I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not, but part of the Empire At War Expanded team's official rules for using their data is no reuploads and no submods can contain the entire data for their mod or meaning the submod requires the main mod from their page to be able to run. A complete upload of their mod data is in violation of their rules. I do not speak for the Empire at war Expanded team, I just wanted to respectfully give you a heads up.
The 3.3 version of the thrawns revenge uploaded by Corey himself, can be found on moddb https://www.moddb.com/mods/thrawns-revenge/downloads/steam-thrawns-revenge-33
I appreciate your desire to help players find this version easier.
