I've fixed some bugs and added some additional null-checking.

Meat/leather thrown will now be forbidden automatically.

Mod options:
% chance of a pawn having Bloody Mess trait
% chance of bloody mess on any kill
% chance of bloody mess on an explosive kill
Amount of meat thrown (can be set to 0 and it will just be graphics)
No actual blood mess, just graphics (default false)

--

Original mod notes (1.5):

By some strange twist of fate, people around you die violently. You always see the worst way a person can die.

Aye so it's a random trait, and whenever they kill someone it's really bloody.

It uses the explosion code, and I do know there were some changes to that method specifically for 1.6, I will review that code when I get a moment.

Somehow, the effect has changed. In this version, the screen shakes and there is a smoke effect, like an explosion. That wasn't the case in the old version.

As we have received permission on Alex's steam profile to continue Alex's mods, licensing them as appropriate, I have added the MIT license to this mod. I will fork the original repository, update it with my changes, and add the license as well.

Sorry, I don't check that often. I responded there.

@Zaljerem: The mother has explicitly asked if somebody can take over Uuugggg's mods, and a licence is a part of that, so presumably she expects to be bothered with whatever is necessary, even if it may feel inappropriate at this point.

BTW, has my steam message reached you? First time I used that, I'm just wondering if it even works.

Another modder who wants to post some continuations has contacted Marilyn with the info about what needs to be done to resolve the license situation. I would have waited myself, but I suppose it's better done quickly and then there's no more "grey area" to worry about.

I apologize if I came off harshly in any way, it's been a ... bit of a day.

Couldn't agree more, thank you Zaljerem.

Thank you for the update, and for being so kind with his family!

I am not going to bother a grieving family with such concerns at this particular point, but I will take what you've said under advisement. I am intimately familiar with the grey area that "all rights reserved" mod continuations are tenatively allowed to exist, but you're correct in stating that it's much better if all such things are resolved. At the appropriate time, I will reach back out to Marilyn with what you've said below firmly in mind.

@Zaljerem:

Hey, I saw you reached out to Alex’s relatives, just wanted to use this comment section to say that none of his repositories have an explicit license, so it’s pretty much all rights reserved—a reminder to add literally any copyleft license if you end up forking them.

I understand that nobody will ever care about this, but just to make it right. I’d also ask Marilyn to send you an e-mail where she states that she agrees to relicense all repositories under the alextd username to this specific copyleft license of your choice. And then just archive that e-mail till the end of times.

Thank you for your work.
