The Third Crusade has come to an end, yet peace in the Holy Land remains fragile. With many armies having withdrawn, some European lords—unwilling to return home empty-handed—have chosen to stay behind, spreading chaos and oppressing the local people.

By order of none other than King Richard I of England, the Lionheart, you have been entrusted with a sacred mission: to eliminate these self-proclaimed warlords who disgrace the name of Christendom with their greed and cruelty.

Your first target is Duke Alaric of Venden, also known as the Raven—a ruthless and cunning commander who has seized control of key trade routes between Acre and Jaffa. His men plunder caravans, kidnap merchants, and demand tribute from all who wish to pass through his territory.

To maintain his grip on power and spread fear, the Raven has hired large numbers of Bedouin mercenaries, whose knowledge of the desert is unmatched. With their aid, he strikes from the shadows, ambushing trade routes and vanishing into the sands like a ghost.

His actions threaten not only the safety of pilgrims and merchants, but also the fragile peace between Richard and Sultan Saladin. It is time to end the Raven’s reign—before he plunges these lands into even greater fire and bloodshed.
