The 100 Day Siege

Description
A custom They Are Billions challenge designed for both newcomers and hardened survivors!

The first 20 days give you time to build, plan, and prepare. Then, the nightmare begins — relentless waves of infected come crashing in, growing stronger and fiercer with every assault. From slow shamblers to Harpies, Venoms, and Giant monstrosities, the chaos never lets up.

Expect a pure tower defense thrill with scaling difficulty — easy at first, brutal by the end. Can you hold the line for 100 days?

Tip: Fortify early. Adapt fast. Good luck, commander. You can choose your preferred map theme!

I’ve gone ahead and made some small balance changes, including a slight bump to recruitments. These aren’t given to you right at the start — instead, you’ll see more choice options when recruitment events pop up throughout the game.

The goal was to ease up the early game just a touch without taking away the difficulty and replay value. It’s still meant to be a tough challenge — just with a little more breathing room for your army early on.

Appreciate everyone taking the time to play and comment!

was it your intent to make it so that there is little to no wood in the early game? I don't like to place a sawmill unless I'm getting at least 11. I had to put two 9's down just to get enough wood to expand. I actually had to put more sawmills down than I wanted. Additionally, why did you put the stone and iron so far away from the start point? The house building areas are too big for market coverage, as my market only covered roughly half the area.

Curious about your design ideas.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
I've updated the existing maps and also released a brand new map — be sure to check it out!

This update includes a few tweaks and minor balance changes. You’ll also notice some new events and a bit of extra support to give players a hand — all while keeping the challenge alive and well!

Loved this map. Classic, no rush, no "spawn-in-tha-face-trigger-lines" really enjoyable for casual play! Keep it going!

First wave feels way too tough, fatties won't even go down to a wall of gunners

Nothing else to do from day 27 on, except for building snipers, towers and putting snipers into towers. Maybe map can be more crowded. Also waves should scale faster.

Thanks so much for your comments — really appreciate the feedback!
I’ll be adjusting the waves to make them a bit more accessible early on and improve the overall balance. Your input helps me understand what players are looking for.

If you haven’t already, please give the map a rating! I’m planning to tweak it so the beginning is easier to get into, but still tough enough in the end to make it a real challenge worth conquering.

Great map design but that first wave is way too tough.

I really like the kind of map, but first wave is too hard for me.
Anyway, thanks for your map.
