Description

How it works?
  • You can control the ship from the seat in the command bridge. Use the WSAD keys to steer the ship, and the logic gates (arranged like arrows) show how the engine room is working.
  • You can control the main artillery from the so-called Main Artillery Plotting Room (you can find it on the room plan). The artillery uses the DADAS system, which takes a moment to learn but is very simple and efficient.
    Keybinds:
    • LMB - Fire; RMB - Activate DADAS;
    • 1,2 - Cameras;
    • 3 - Ammo type switch;
    • 4 - Turret camera tracking;
    • 5 - Rangefinder camera tracking;
    • 6 - DADAS camera tracking switch;
    • 7 - Coupling of DADAS systems (only in forward director)

  • Anti-aircraft defense is controlled from AA directors.
    Keybinds:
    • LMB - Fire front mounts; RMB - Fire rear mounts;
    • 1 - Camera tracking;
    • 2,3 - Mounts cameras;
  • Torpedo launchers are controlled from the Torpedo tubes director.
    Keybinds:
    • 1 - Camera tracking;
    • 2 - Camera;
    • 3-6 - Launch torpedo;

  • Deep charges may be found on the stern.
  • It is a large blueprint, but it has simple physics 1 compatibility
  • Of course ship is 100% funcional and has fully interiored rooms and decks. As our standards are.

Roleplay description:
OCvC Stefan Rowecki "Grot" is a representative of the Grot-class, developed from modified plans of the Cyclone-type ships. Visually, they are quite similar, but their design philosophies are entirely different. This ship is equipped with three 155mm guns — generally the same ones used on Osprey-class cruisers — but here they are mounted in a turret featuring an experimental semi-automatic loading system.

This marks a significant technological step forward: the turret automatically loads the shell (now encased in a cartridge) and ejects the casing. Unfortunately, the process of supplying ammunition to the turret remains manual. While primitive, this system opens the door to future innovation and enables more efficient loading for smaller-caliber weapons.

The AD8B "Grot" class is recognizable for its rather unique combat style — the ship is designed to fight with its stern facing the enemy. A forward-positioned turret with a high rearward firing angles and two stern turrets were intended to deliver sustained fire while the ship maintained optimal distance. The downside? The enemy has to actually want to chase you.

Specification:
  • Main guns: SBG-MCC-7 155mm/10b SAL;
  • Torpedo tubes: 1x4 SSTL17 M4;
  • AA: 4x2NFZS-H-2XG, 4x1NFZS B1;
  • Speed: 38kts;

Name origin:
Named after General Stefan Rowecki, codename Grot, commander of the Polish Home Army during World War II. The name symbolizes steadfast leadership, defiance in the face of tyranny, and precision in military strategy.

More:
No build animation and lite version because it's additional ship.
