CV Class 1, Core 1, Unlock Level 15 - Reforged Eden 2 Only

Primary roles: Early/mid game big drill CV miner, upgradable

The Scarab Tremor-BD(Big Drill) aka "Bad Daddy" is a big drill CV miner that unlocks at player level 15 with only basic CV resources. It's fearless and has a taste for space rocks and Ziraxian space trees, especially the kind with tender morsels. Disclaimer - Miner does not actually mine CV's.

Stock Features

The Tremor-BD comes stock with 2 BF drills, 320K harvest bay, 96K storage bay, 14K ammo box, a couple sort boxes, 2 advanced and 2 small constructors, Wifi, 30 light year warp drive, compact shield, gravity gen, spot lights, 2 passenger seats, 8 sentry guns, 2 minigun turrets, med bay, o2 and dispensor, shower, 4 entry points, landing pad, 2 passenger seats, and an overwhelming desire for rock and tender morsels.

Upgrade options

The BD has locations to add 2 basic and 2 improved CPU cores, location to replace detector with long range radar, would really like it's warp drive upgraded to a 60 light year version, and has a location (front bottom) to replace a 1x2 generator with a 1x3 version. It also has a location next to the cockpit to add a multi-turret.

Offense and Defense

The Tremor BG is built with steel, some cargo extensions, and carbon substrate interior. It comes with 8 sentry guns 2 minigun turrets and a 14K ammo box. It is not meant for combat, but we all know the BD is fearless.

Notes: Special thanks to Artemis Rouge for some BD miner design recommendations that were followed on this build. Also, when operating, the cross hair will change to red when in proper drill range. Run the drills at that location until the cross hair turns white then move forward again until cross hair turns red. Repeat until you are satisfied.

Also, this type of miner is meant for asteroid mining only and typically not allowed to mine on planet surfaces.
