Q&A
Q: Temporary?
A: Yes, the mod will be unlisted once the original updates.

Original Description

Adds a pair of high tech shields:

Power Pavise:
A spacer heavy shield made out of layered plasteel-weave plates with solid ablative coatings. More a portable wall than a shield, it provides maximum protection at the cost of heavy encumbrance. This type of shield is commonly used by advanced police forces and space marine pointmen.

Force Buckler:
A spacer portable repulsor shield formed by a hardened emitter. It is capable of blocking both melee and ranged attacks, and light enough to not encumber it's user, though is dramatically less useful while it's shield is down. This type of shield is commonly used by advanced security forces and space marine commandos.

Use this if you want to be able to use shields with replacement arms: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2739055353

Since they appear to be only apparel, they do not actively occupy a weapon slot, so I would think that they can be used with any weapon? Been a very long time since I actively played, so I do not fully know.

can i use all weapon in pair with the shield?

In this case there isn't a repo as far as I'm aware, though I can see the logic behind that.

something I'm confused about is, if they allow you to upload a temporary fix -why wouldn't they ask you to commit it into their repo, so the temporary fix is in their mod, so when the original gets updated, the players (us) won't have to do digging like "hey a random mod disappeared from my 600 modlist, which one was it?" :D it'd be a LOT more logical and would help not only the players but the devs too.

No problem, I've been itching to play again myself ever since 1.6 and Odyssey released but still waiting on a couple more mods to play, this was a simple fix at least.

I asked LTS if I could upload my fix for the time being, it's only temporary because once the original gets updated this will be useless.

How is this temp and with permission?
