Description
When the skies themselves conspire, no dam can save you. This expansion mod for Moddable Weather introduces two new hazardous weather types:

- Skyblight: Think you're safe with your massive reservoir that withstands the worst droughts? Now the air itself will turn against you: toxic pollen will slowly contaminate all water, bypassing traditional defenses.

* Water in storages is safe, as beavers can cover them.
* Running water is generally safer, but it becomes contaminated the farther it gets from the source.
* Default setting: starts at cycle 7, with stats similar to Badtide but at half the chance of occurrence.
* You can adjust the strength of the pollution (‰/game tick): Each game tick (0.6s), a portion of the water turns into badwater. For example, at the default 5‰, a reservoir with no fresh water input will become fully contaminated after 120 seconds (about half a game day).

- Badrain: If Skyblight isn't challenging enough, enable Badrain. It's the same as Skyblight but your land only get moisture from water for a maximum of 3 tiles (instead of 16). Default: starts at cycle 10, a quarter of the chance of Badtide for happening.

Your mods are great, sorry you're dealing with people being rude and entitled on something you do for free to enhance a game!

Im dissapointed, because it changes nothing, still dull, its just a draugh without any way of defending against it, and if you play on hard or custom with long cicles, its just a game over event, 20 days without food and wood + the extra time to grow when it goes back to normal, its 25 days for food and 32 to 50 days without wood, if you are not dead already, you will die next cicle because you have no way of preparing for anything...
"but only start at cycle 10", yeah, that late in the game, it doesnt make a diference, your city is already pure bots, no food or water required... just metal and wood.

My suggestion about contamination in pulses, doesnt kill the entire map and dont need to be locked 10 cycles away to be able to survive... its a good combination of punishing without being deadly or being something ultra late game...

Sorry, but this is just lame... if this was suposed to be a Game Ending challenge, i would understand, like this event trigering after you build the final wonder and you have to survive for 30 days or something, like FrostPunk ending.

Sorry for appearing rude, but this was very underwealming, i was waiting for a new and interesting game mechanic and received Ubisoft level content.

At first I tried the on/off contamination like you suggested but then it gets complicated and not as efficient as the current effect. Since you actually have plants that are already drought-resistant, and there is a way (though costly) to mitigate it if your plant is so important.

That's a very good idea. One of the reason I didn't enable Badrain on default because there is no real way to counter it (except stockpiling tons of food/wood). Your idea is way better and I may even enable it by default.

I like the idea, but contamination kills plants way to fast on vanilla, and some trees takes way to long to grow...
I was thinking, contaminated plants dont grow, what if badrain keep turning on and off during the duration of the event, long enough to slow down the growth of everything, but with short periods off for plants recover from... example, cicles of 4 hours of contamination and 2 hours without, brutally slowing growth but without killing everything.
Is this possible?

Nope, no cover will save you :P only water in storage (Tanks) is safe.

If I put a water tight cover over the reservoir, will it still be effected?
