Know as the Legionaries Desiease, Legionella is a well known bacteria that is caracteristic for infecting both natural and artificial enviroments of fresh water, but also for having heavy and deadly effects in the human body, once it infects it.

To cure it, it's used various antibiotics, not always with a 100% success rate, but it generally works. Not only, but most times, the host must be hospitalized.

It is estimated that there are arround 60 Legionella strains in the wild, but after many mutations, a species called "legionella letifer" has been developed. Initially weak, it has lots of potential to become the plague that will end human kind.

However, Legionella is well known in the science community, and has been studied by decades to minimize its efects, meaning that this strain can be detected without much effort.
