Oracle's Cliffs and Chasms

Description
Spun off from Oracle's Miscellania by commission.

What's Different?
I haven't removed the existing cliffs from Miscellania, they'll still be there if you don't have this installed so that I don't break anyone's saves. This mod should be able to be just dropped in and work, all the def names are the same between the two.

There are two main changes with this standalone version:
  • A few more cliff pieces
  • The texture assets are in an AssetBundle, for less clipping, faster loading, and better performance.

Cliffs & Chasms
I'm a fan of fake depth in RimWorld. Since we can't have Z-Levels, here's some ways to fake it. Two flavors, metal for the classic "bottomless pit" look. Also included is "void" flooring, which is solid black and unpathable but can be shot over. Void flooring is located in the Structure tab and is only placeable in god/dev mode to avoid accidentally trapping your pawns in the middle of the void as they try to build it:

And a "Natural" cliff based on the look of the pits in Anomaly. This one has both the "bottomless pit" version as seen on the metal, as well as a natural cliff face that can be used for cosmetic cliffs.

They're also useful for defense if kind of overpowered; they're pathable, but with an extremely high pathing cost, to fake "climbing the cliff"

When I get the time between other projects, I think I'm going to try to make some prefab "cliff formations" to make into Landmarks, I think that'd be really cool and expand the usefulness of this mod beyond manually-placed decor.

This kinda needs more subscribers. This actually slaps.

I dream of a natural implementation of this with the features of geological landforms

Looks pretty good.
I think I'll use this.
