Nieuport NiD-52 Spanish Biplane Pack

This mod is a pack containing three versions of the Hizpano-Nieuport NiD-52 biplane, imported and produced under licence by Spain, the aircraft originating in France. The biplane was used in peacetime by the Ejercito del Aire and then by both sides during the early period of the Spanish Civil War. It was an okay fighter but quickly became
obsolete during the war.It was armed with a pair of 7mm French Hothckiss machiguns. The models are quite arcade-ish. The project and initial construction of the aircraft were a product of the French mergedcompanies Nieuport-Delâge in Suresnes, Île-de-France, France. Description of versions:

Green Livery - 1930, Royal Spanish Air Force. This is the peacetime, pre-Republic version, later repainted by the
Republic.

Silver Livery - 1934-1936, Spanish Repuplican Air Force. This is the famous version representing the fighter arm of he Spanish Republic during the first months of the war. The image of the tricolor quickly became associated with the defenders of the Spanish Democracy in warlwide press, many brave aces flying with this plane.

Brown/Maroon Livery - The quickly painted black and white symbols, together with the simple one colored camouflage, illustrates the rush in which the sides gathered to war after the July coup. Many Spanish aces in both sides would start their careers in this aricraft.

A tragic and deadly conflict, the Spanish Civil War maimed a nation with a beautiful soul for decades after costing maybe up to half a million lives of Spanish Men, Women and Children. D.E.P.
