African Spurred Tortoise Habitat

Custom built domed building that resembles a tortoise shell. Interior is designed to accommodate a 4m path around the perimeter. Education and security in place, and habitat area tweaked to 100% welfare for tortoises. While the African Spurred Tortoise's preference for group size is limited to 8 adults, the habitat is large enough to house up to 32 juveniles with the adults (though I'm not sure how you'd manage that!). Absolutely beautiful views both day and night! Guests will say things like "I have to consciously remember to breathe" and "I will CHERISH this memory forever!"

Since first upload, I've made adjustments to ensure terrain modification is preserved in blueprint! Barriers appear confusing at first, but don't fret! It's just to help keep the terrain flat on the floors. Most of it can be deleted. Also added signs to help with placement, and some bench and bin ideas. More screenshots will be added soon!!

On that note, the barriers are pretty simple. After you place the building, head inside and find the signs on the ground pointing to the fence. Using null barrier, connect the two fence posts. Then simply delete any barrier that is not part of the inner circle and habitat gate. This should result in a habitat area of about 404 m^2 (approximately 330 of which is traversable for the tortoises). After this, you can delete the instructional signs.

Then on to pathing! We all know how stubborn and ornery the path system is in PZ... What I found to be easiest is to turn OFF angle snapping, kerb on ground path, and snap to barrier. Start near the habitat gate and hold Ctrl to keep it from clinging to the staff path, and place the first circle of path in front of the education board. Using minimum length, extend one click out from the circle (basically two "pieces" of path). Repeat on the other side of the gate. Then start extending from one path all the way around the circle to the other. Once that's done, you can open the path outward through the four doorways and either connect them all with an outside path or connect to the paths you already have in your zoo!

The lit exit and staff signs are my own font design, which I will be completing and uploading at a later date.
