A-Chrono-5

The anti-ship counterpart to the T-Chrono-5, is an up-armoured variant designed to attack larger vessels. It forgoes the class 2 kinetic cannon in favour of an AMS system, enabling it to defend against missiles, while its increased armour capacity allows it to take more hits than the A-Chrono. The added mass, however, makes it slower and more vulnerable to fighters. It maintains the two EMP cannon from the A-Chrono but swaps the medium missiles for a pair of unguided rocket pods - more damaging against larger ships, but useless against agile fighters. If escorted, the A-Chrono-5 is a useful battlefield tool against slow, expensive capital ships.
