Vanquisher

With a heavy focues on energy use and recovery, the Vanquisher is a gunship, designed to cause maximum damage in the shortest time possible. It is also an adept raider, following Vanguard class fighters into attacks on merchant shipping, causing huge damage with its rate of fire and weapon damage active systems, shaking off enemy attempts to grapnel or warp-disrupt it, and escape at full speed before reinforcements can arrive. The Vanquisher is too fragile to be considered a ship of the line, however, and cannot be used as such without sustaining major damage.
