Description
SA.321G Super Frelon MOD
Mod Number: 3544945979

This mod adds the French Navy's SA.321G Super Frelon to Sea Power.

The Sud-Aviation SA.321G Super Frelon is a heavy three-engine ASW helicopter used by the Naval Aviation of the Marine Nationale (French Navy) from 1966 to 2010. The SA.321G is an ASW Killer, not a Hunter-Killer, it needs a friendly ship/aircraft/submarine to spot its target before it can engage it with its Mk46 light-weight or L4 medium-weight torpedoes. On the other hand it doesn't need any help to track and destroy enemy ships thanks to its nose-mounted ORB-32 Héraclès Ⅱ semi-panoramic medium-range search radar and a pair of the iconic Exocet anti-ship missile.

This mods features the white and blue livery used by SA.321Gs of the Aéronavale (French Naval Aviation) from 1966 to 1982.

This mod also introduces a new torpedo (the L4 medium-weight torpedoe which has more punch than the Mk46) and a new search radar (the ORB-32 Héraclès Ⅱ).

Some of the characteristics of the vanilla SA.321 have been altered to better suit those of the SA.321G (speed, weight, range, climb rate, etc.).

Notes:
This mod does not require Sealifter or Anchorchain and if fully compatible with the latest version of the game (0.4+)

If you publish a scenario using this mod, do not forget to indicate in your description that in order it works the players need to subscribe to this mod first ;).

Disclaimer:
This mod has been tested and is running perfectly on my computer (i7-11800H @ 2.30 Ghz - 16 GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050) with no other mod enabled. However, since they are as many computer configurations than computer users, it's unfortunately impossible to guarantee it will work on yours.
Be aware that by installing mods for Sea Power, you are modifying your game experience from the original intended product which is (at release date of this mod) still in EARLY ACCESS. Therefore, later game updates/patches may cause this mod to be deprecated. Although it is very unlikely, the presence of other enabled mods might cause conflicts, and the more enable mods on your computer, the greater the chance of conflict. So, to sum it up, USE MODS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you wish to clean uninstal this mod make sure to follow these steps: 1) Uncheck this mod in the mod manager. 2) Click on Accept. 3) Unsubscribe. Then make sure the mod's file is no longer in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220 folder.

Would you consider creating a tutorial that covers all file-related tasks in the Explorer?
