Star Wars: TIE Sound Block

Description
A simple mod that adds the TIE Fighter fly-by sound and a loopable ambient TIE engine noise to the vanilla sound block.

The picture is from my Tie Series Starfighters and includes the standard Tie Fighter, Interceptor, Bomber, Drone and Darth Vader's Tie Advanced.

Thanks go to Darth Biomech for providing the solution to looping sounds.

Random pro tip: if any of you have a baby that won't go to sleep, the 12 hour tie ambient video had my granddaughter snoozing within 5 minutes.

lol, sound files don't need DX 11. But while on the subject of sounds, are any new looping engine sounds going to come to this like an actively flying TIE engine screech?

The way I use this is to put a soundblock on the ship and select the Tie flyby sound from it's k-menu. Then I set up a sensor to play the soundblock when it gets close to a station.
The Tie ambient sound is loopable but still needs to be selected in the soundblock and then started by something: either manually, by timer or a sensor. To use both sounds at the same time requires two soundblocks on the same ship.

I've tested it just now and it's working for me. How have you set up your soundblock?

I know, a couple of people have expressed interest in that. I might have a go at finding some good samples of the falcon to add over the weekend. For other SW sounds, I think there's a Star Destroyer ambient sound mod somewhere on the workshop.

how has no one put up a millenium falcon sound block? or made star wars based mods in the first place. i c more star trek ones. which dnt get me wrong. i love star trek. but still. need more star wars based mods and full sized ship blueprints.

All I can think of is that due to the way sound blocks work, looped sounds go off if a second sound block on the same ship activates.
Other than that, is the loop duration slider set to a large number / max?

It simply wont make the sound when i click it, but the flyby works fine.
if it helps you can check my Tie Fighter and see if it works or not.
