Description
MILAN (GIAN GALEAZZO)
Unique Trait: House of Visconti
Befriended, Allied, and Intimidated City-States reduce Gold purchase costs in cities (max: -50% Capital, -20% elsewhere). During war, City-States are 25% easier to intimidate and Influence degrades 15% slower.

Unique Unit: Ribault
The Ribault replaces the Crossbowman for Milan under Gian Galeazzo. It is more expensive and much more vulnerable to melee attacks than the Crossbowman, and it has only one Range when attacking, which it must set up before it can use it. It is also incapable of damaging enemy cities. However, the Ribault is deadly against Land Units, having a +100% Combat bonus against them (+50% vs Mounted Units instead). It can also attack twice in one turn (provided it has already set up) and can move after attacking, making it highly versatile. Use Ribaults to mow down enemy soldiers with ease, but they must be kept shielded from enemy attacks.

Unique Building: Palazzo
The Palazzo is a Renaissance-era building unique to Milan under Gian Galeazzo, replacing the Bank. In addition to the regular effects of a Bank, the Palazzo boosts progress toward your Capital's next Great Engineer, Merchant, and Scientist whenever you purchase a Building, Tile, or Unit with Gold, respectively. It also slightly boosts the Defensive strength of the city. However, if the city is captured, the capturing civilization will gain twice as much Gold as would be the case in a city without a Palazzo.
PATCHNOTES
  • v4
  • Ribault now replaces the Crossbowman, but has only 1 range and is highly weak on the defense. It has a strong bonus vs Land Combat Units and can attack twice and move after attacking, but essentially cannot attack cities.
  • Palazzo now boosts progress toward your Capital's next Great Merchant, Scientist, or Engineer whenever you purchase a new Tile, Unit, or Building with Gold.
  • Gold purchase discount now has different values with Friendly (2%), Allied (5%), and now applies to Intimidated (2-5%) City-States (2% if you could demand Gold, 3% if you could demand a Unit), and a different max in the Capital (50%) over other cities (20%). Also, now applies to the cost of purchasing tiles as well. During war, City-States are now also 25% easier to intimidate and their influence now degrades 15% slower (from 20%).
  • Fixed issue where Milans Peace/War bonus never deactivated. War-time bonus from the UA will now trigger on War declaration, and, thanks to Chrisy, will work properly in general.
  • Replaced Milan's City-State replacement (San Marino) with Spoleto.
  • Updated Civ icon and colours thanks to DarthKyofu.
  • Various text, supports, and code standardizations/optimizations.
  • Fixed black outlines on Civ Icon and Unit Flag alphas (where applicable).
  • Fixed issue where the ambience in the leaderscene overwrote the music (where applicable).

I played a game with this civ and it was utterly broken. There were 24 city-states on the map and I had allied with them all. This meant that I could buy things for negative gold. Like I could buy a battleship for -1200 gold. Led to me winning, obviously. 8/10 really fun

It's a shame that the AI can't keep up with the power of this one - it likes to build large armies and acts quite aggressively, but the units just never seem to be advanced enough to actually do any harm on top of the AI's incompetence. In the hands of human players 70-100% discounts (30+ 15 (Big Ben) + 25 (Mercantilism) + 30 (Ideology)) and ridiculous gold generation break the game quite quickly. Uniques are both flavorful and powerful. Top tier civ that's absurdly fun to play.

I played this one and in the late game after I had allied/friended most of the city states, it was negative gold for me to buy things. In other words, I could be paid to get things like battleships and everything else. At one point, it was -50 gold to get a battleship lol.

Sorry to bother again , but I read most of the forum linked about decisions and events and just can't find how to install it. Could Anyone please help?

Do I need the events and decisions mod for this, and do you think you could upload that to the workshop?
