Report a translation problem
1) Old worlds may have no lighting at all, has to do with the updates Solution: Make new world :)
2) If you used any other skybox to make your world, and then switched to a different one, the lighting will not change unless you make a new world.
3) The sun in DX11 in Distant Star is wrong and needs fixing
4) Tonemapping might be contributing to you seeing little difference in the lighting, try turning it off.
I'm gonna also try to clean up the vanilla skybox to look better in DX11 (i.e. get rid of the blue gamma)
