Hello! And behold my newest unit pack, the Blades of Sparta four-unit pack!

When the DLC came out, people seemed disappointed at a lack of Spartan Swordsmen, or melee units in general. Well Eggmond has come back for awhile, to provide just that! And it's made using brand new DLC armor!

This Four unit pack comes with a range of useful units, both epic and mundane. Made with the DLC items CA released. These include:

--Spartan Glory Guard-- A remade version of one of my first units! From tier 4-5 buildings.

--Spartan Formed Garrison-A medium unit of useful swords, reliable/cost effective. From tier 3-4 buildings. And cities.

--Spartan Bronze Line--Noble citizens of Sparta, making up a late tier sword unit. From tier 4-5 Buildings. And cities.

--Spartan Shock Infantry--Light armored swordsmen, with a focus on speed. From most military buildings and most cities.

More units are to come! Please feel free to suggest any unit or addition you like!

-This mod is a work in progress, and is being added to and tweaked every day. Any issues with cost, Stats, or recruitment can be posted in the comments below, and I will work to fix it as fast as possible!

I'm having issues with the buildings they come from, but the mod still works fine in general. If they come from strange buildings or don't show up, it's a problem i'm fixing as you read this :D

And yes the officers are missing swords. This is not something i can fix right now, CA has *Claimed* to be working on this issue.

I am unable to recruit Spartan Bronze Line in Grand Campaign. The other 3 units are ok. I have checked the pack file's buildings table and I can see nothing wrong. All 4 units work fine in custom battle. An ideas?

nevermind. I did some testing and turns out this doesnt work with Traits, toadies overhaul. I saw online that this is a problem too. This mod is great, but whatever traits, toadies overhaul edits obviously doesnt work with some unit mods. This fixed it for me atleast.

could we have these units individually please? if i were playing sparta myself i'd just get the whole mod and only use the units i want, but i'm trying to buff sparta into an end-boss faction (to play against in a campaign) and i don't like the look of the shock infantry (who still manage to have as much armour rating as a legionary, lol). i'd just really like to have the AI's armies headed up by those awesome looking updated glory guard.

Really cool, though I was wondering if it's possible to make the Glory Guard have the armor of the high level units made by Lord Buio. It would be awesome to see units with that armor also wearing the lionskin.
