huh... that's weird. Skin works flawlessly in game. Been using it for a couple of days straight now, and it will definitely be on my M14 for a long time to come.

To any other viewer looking to add some flair to the M14, this one gets my vote.

Thanks for the feed back. I wish I could get better pictues, but i keep getting errors when trying to open the model in the valve software thats included for previewing.

2) The stock of the weapon appears lighter than the rest of it. Perhaps its just a lighting thing, but the first couple of times I saw it in the item menu, I was convicned it was actually a tan tiger stripe pattern. Dropping the weapon on the ground, I can tell it is actually Kryptek pattern, but it still looks lighter than the body of the rifle.

3) The fore-end/ rails of the weapon - the pattern looks a little muddled. It's not a big deal at all, it would be hard to make such a detailed pattern look good on a rail system on any weapon in real life, but compared to the rest of the body, it just doesn't look as sexy. Might be a limitation of the pattern itself.

Plan on using this into the future. Works great, looks really good, and fits most of the environments in the game.

Overall, the skin is good, and I like it. After using the Nomad pattern on the M14 for a while, the Banshee is a nice change of pace. Some of my thoughts on the skin after using it for a few rounds:

1) The coloring is quite dark. The Banshee pattern is meant for use in cold and arid environments - sort of bridging the gap between Highlander and Altitude - think Highlander when it starts to snow and all the green and tan bits around you turn white and grey and the brown bits get wet and dark. If you look at large swatchs of Banshee pattern, you can see it features a fair bit of light grey/ white coloring in contrast to the browns and tans. Your skin nails the darker browns, but the lighter shades that characterize the pattern don't come through as well.
