Teaching Old Draugr New Tricks

Description
Fighting draugr gets really repetitive, doesn't it...? This mod aims to spice it up a bit by giving them more spells and weapons. Now also includes several new enemies!

Features:
1. Mid-level draugr warlocks now have many more spells (including several all-new summons).
2. Deathlords get better and better enchanted weapons at higher levels.
3. There's a new tier of draugr enemies above Deathlords.
4. High-level draugr bosses can be warlocks, and have some unique spells.

No DLC required. Use this mod however you like.

For more high-level undead enemies, try my Skeleton Heroes and Dread Wraiths mods.

@flysniper4 I don't know - does that mod change draugr? If it changes draugr levelled lists, then it will probably clash with this one and prevent my draugr from spawning. Otherwise, it should be fine.

@Carrier of Echoes is this compatible with immersive creatures?

Sorry, that's "Use Info", not "find all references". Rusty on Creation Kit use I am.

Another way is to find a spawn point and select "edit target" on the form that it spawns. (You still might have to follow a few back links, since some of the spawns reference enemy forms which inherit from levelled lists).

There are several pitfalls that you need to watch out for. A lot of spawns in the game (including most draugr spawns) are "ambush" spawns and will not work properly for enemies which have a different body type to the ones which already spawn there. Ambush spawns also tend to set the combat AI type of the spawned enemy, which is super annoying because it means that magic or ranged weapon draugr can't spawn properly at a spawn point for a melee draugr.

@Elbow Monster - add the new enemy forms into the levelled lists which are referenced by existing spawn points.

One way to find the levelled list forms is to pick an enemy which already spawns there (e.g. an ordinary draugr) and right click then select "find all references". Some of the forms inherit from others so you might have to follow the chain back a few links to get to the list.

Quick question, how do you encorporate new enemies into the spawn system? thanks in advance

Eesh. Well, I've seen it done with other mods. A dragon used Dismay, and only 2 draugr used Dismay and Ice Form.
Thanks for responding though. I'll take that into consideration when I start modding. Still a great mod btw!

All but a few of the shouts don't really work against the player, and some of the ones which do work are dangerous to use. I once tried giving deathlords Marked For Death, then later noticed my character had acquired a permanent -7000 armour debuff which was impossible to remove! D: Ice form is also risky IIRC because if the enemy glitches and doesn't hit you after using it, you stay frozen forever... And so on. Adding all-new shouts is also much more difficult than adding spells. So, basically from a modder's perspective, shouts really suck :(

Is it possible for deathlords to have more shouts? Are there more voices for more shouts? I've heard Dismay and Ice Form along with Frost Breath, Disarm and Unrelenting Force. I think that'd make it even more spicy. c:
