Nuclear Power Subsidies V1

Description
This mod adds a Nuclear Power Subsidies policy, so that you can guide your country to green energy! ...well, if it doesn't blow up.

Still in development. Please report any bugs and give suggestions in the workshop comments.

In the policy description you said "Safely produce clean, safe electrical power" Dont repeat yourself by putting 'safe' twice.

Nuclear fuel might not be renewable (at least not on a human time-scale), but I think that most people would say that renewable means never-ending, a resource that is virtually infinite. Depending on what type of element is being used and what type of reactors; we can pretty much use fission forever if we want to as well, the Sun won't last forever either.

Nuclear subsidies should have no impact on energy efficiency. We don't use energy more efficiently just because we have more nuclear plants.
It should also have little to no effect on oil demand as almost no oil is used to generate electricity.

These subsidies should, in the world we live in, be something that environmentalists hate. They hate nuclear more than all fossil fuels in the world. So replace parents with environmentalists.

Why do foreign relations go down? Doesn't this depend on whether or not the adjacent countries have nuclear power themselves or whether your country already has nuclear power?
For example, I don't think the Canadian government would care much if the US decided to build 5 more NPP's. If anything, greatly reducing carbon emissions by building more nuclear should increase foreign relations.
Whether or not other governments think that your money is going to secret weapons programs is highly dependent on what country we are talking about. Take Sweden as an example. I highly doubt that other governments would believe that Sweden is building nuclear bombs. Then we have countries like North Korea or Iran, but none of those countries are playable without mods. Most of the playable countries already have nuclear power and nuclear arms, so it would make little sense for other governments to think that these countries are re-inventing these things.

@Kuromi

Thanks for that comment. Gave me some new ideas for the mod.

1) True. Thanks for catching that mistake; I'll edit the description accordingly.
2) Nuclear energy lessens the reliance on fossil fuels (coal and oil) so it directly reduces the oil demand. Nuclear waste has virtually no impact on the environment because it's very easy to dispose. The positive effect on the environment in the mod is to simulate reduced carbon emissions.
3) Good point. I'll remove that in the next update.
4) I think that there should still be some impact on public happiness, but it will be reduced in the next update. Implementation cost will be increased to reflect the politican pressure against them.

Conventional nuclear power is not renewable. And fusion reactors are not commercialized.

In my opinion nuclear power should not directly affect oil demand or the environment. It is just another alternative energy (like microgeneration) after all. Effect on oil demand and the environment is addressed by energy efficiency. What about nuclear wastes?

I doubt if patriots will be happier as it is not like nuclear power being first time in the history achieved by scientists.

Also it won't chage the opinion of parents or everyone that much as it is not building reactors in everyone's backyard.

@Kattenelvis

Due to concerns that the nuclear subsidies might be going to secret weapons programs, not just nuclear power itself. I'll probably reduce the impact some in the next version.
