Description
Part 2 of "The Liberation of the Northern Altis Republic"!

Part 2 takes place 1 day after the events of part 1. I think this mission turned out better than the last. It is a bit more difficult and there is quite a bit more customization.

Synopsis: You are insert via Ghosthawk and make your way to a stash of weapons placed by the FIA to collect all the gear you might want to complete the mission. Afterwards you make your way to an overwatch position to gather intel on troop movements and possibly the location of Commander Zahid. You then move into Galati, locate and eliminate Commander Zahid while battling his loyal troops. You then make your way to an outpost on top of a hill northwest of Galati where you are tasked with destroying Zahids weapon and explosive cache then make your way to the extraction point where you will be picked up by a Ghosthawk.


Features

- 30-60 minute gameplay. Depends on how good you are.

- Respawns

- Helicopter insertion and extraction. (if the helo doesn't want to land at the extraction, just command your team to board it and it should land)

- Suicide Bomber

- Intense CQB gunfights

- I added the CAS helicopter module again. Only use it if you are having troubles.

- Virtual Arsenal. Be sure to grab some Explosive Charges to destroy the 3 buildings. If you don't grab them at the beginning, you can take them out of the crates at the Explosive Cache.

Thanks for downloading and let me know what you think and whether or not you find any bugs. And yes, the dialogue prior to the insert is taken from "Black Hawk Down".

nice mission - a little feed back to fix: had bother with the task 7 & 8 not triggering complete

Very nice scenario; I liked it.
All in all a very enjoyable mission.
Thanks for creating it.
Two glitches: I could blow up the tower, but not the caches (I placed an explosive charge on each crate) and the helicopter hovers 1 m above extraction point so I had to find a spot where the 'seat symbol' would light up so I could get in.

there is a bug : you can put as amany explosives as you want in the caches and blow them, it does not show on the tasks. Otherwise iit was ok

Great mission. Completed with a mate. Better than your last, keep going and they'll get even better.

Helo eventually landed but gave us about 1 second to get in, which we didn't manage, then took off again and left us stranded. Went and got fish and chips!

Yes the mission is playable. The "Move to Extraction" task isn't being created when it is supposed to but it does have a marker on the map and you can still go to it and the helicopter will still come to pick you up and fly away to end the mission. I will probably just make it so the task is there from the beginning of the mission. The other problem is that the extract helicopter doesn't feel like landing sometimes and all you have to do to fix it currently is point your crosshairs at it, hit the "~" key and order everyone to "Get In" which will force it to land. I just need to move the invisible landing pad around a little bit to get it to consistently land. It's difficult because the landing spot is on top of a hill with not alot of flat area so the AI gets confused pretty easily.

I would like to try the mission but I readed that there are 2 issues and my question is if that mission is playable ?

It looks like there are 2 issues so far. The "move to extraction" task isn't being created once the weapons and explosives caches are destroyed though you can still go there (it's marked on the map) and call for extraction to end the mission. Also the extract helicopter isnt wanting to land consistently. If this happens just have the squad leader point at it and order everyone to get in and it will land. If it doesn't want to take off because an AI isn't inside, command the squad to move anywhere else and the helicopter will take off. I'm going to work on these 2 issues tomorrow.
