Description
Updated version is included in my new Overhaul Pack: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=430448307

Adds two new situations to the game: Political Corruption and Political Gridlock. Political Corruption increases Tax Evasion, High Earnings, Political Gridlock, and GDP while reducing things like Brain Drain and Corporate Exodus. Political Gridlock simulates a government shutdown and is caused by combinations of angry voter groups. The effect of each group is determined by it's size and approval, so larger groups are much more influential than smaller ones.

v1.1: The population of each group now affects how much their approval contributes to Political Gridlock

I appreciate feedback so please feel free to add me and tell me how your game went or send me some screenshots. This mod will be combined with my other mods soon, but I will leave this page up for people who want a separate download to combine with other mods.

oh. that would mean the only way to make it work that way would be to make political gridlock be affected by something else...and that wouldn't make much sense. oh well :l

@bobbychappy Problem with that is it makes a feedback loop that you can't get out of, since the situation is triggered by approval in the first place.

perhaps you could make so that each individual faction (wealthy, socialist, trade unionist etc) disaprove of political gridlock instead of everyone? this would lower the loyalty of the entire cabinet, lowering politcal capital generated. Of course, that might be too brutal...
either way, good mod.

@alternatethis help me think of a name and I'll post a beta tonight. I just finished packaging it all together so it's ready to go. Just keep in mind that there's quite a few things missing and unbalanced. Not all of the industry policies have been made and I've barely started on the events and dilemmas. But it shouldn't crash (use autosave in case) and it should give you substantially more stuff to play around with, new challenges, etc.

@bobbychappy I wish, that was my original idea but I couldn't find a way to do it. If you come across one let me know.

@Felbringer
Then stay tuned, because a big fat megapack/expansion is on the way, it will include this mod as well as adding industries (oil, coal, agriculture, etc) and lobbyists for each industry. Lots of other shiny new goodies too but I don't want to spoil too much.

@RealCS

Fuck you too brah, fuck you too :P

Lol in all seriousness though, I don't think you can get banned from these things since they're not forums. All I see is an option to delete posts. Besides, if you got banned for that I'd fight for your freedom haha.
