Mission
PMC Versus operators will neutralize the enemy QRF and coordinate and assist the NATO forces in seizing point X-1 by attacking the enemy lines from the rear.

Situation
May 1st, 2003: welcome to Moldova, PMC Versus. The NATO-СРГА front lines have been at a standstill for several weeks. PMC Versus and NATO high command (callsign Red Crown) have devised a plan to break through the СРГА lines by neutralizing the enemy quick reaction forces which are dispatched to wherever the NATO forces make contact.

PMC Versus operators (callsign November) have been inserted behind the enemy lines to take out the QRF. This will give the NATO infantry and light armor a change to break through near the railroad which serves as the main supply line for NATO food and medical supplies as well as ammunition. November has been given command over the NATO infantry squad (callsign Dagger) and the two M2A2 infantry fighting vehicles (callsign Landslide) on stand-by.

November will radio in on Dagger and Landslide when the operators deem necessary. Upon receiving their orders, both units will move in on the designated enemy position at the front line (designated point X-ray-One). Dagger will assault the position by flanking from the north-western woods and Landslide will make a head-on assault across the dried up swamp.

The СРГА has air superiority for now and the airspace between USS Thorne and the mainland is swarming with enemy fighters. This means no air support until the NATO forces can advance further south. NATO artillery has been forbidden to engage the enemy units because of the cloudberries that grow in the swamp are an endangered species in Moldova.

Commission for this operation is 21,000 dollars.

Enemy
NATO scouts report that point X-ray-One holds at least two stationary alpha victors and a platoon sized enemy infantry unit in somewhat hastily fortified positions. Small infantry patrols have also been sighted in the woods around the swamp area. The enemy QRF's encountered earlier by the NATO forces have usually consisted of several lightly armored APC's and IFV's.
