Presumably broken as of 8/27/2019

There is no skybox for me, just the vanilla skybox.

Can you use this together with another skybox(if you can i <3 you)? Or is it a standalone skybox?

this mod consists of litterally a texture and 2 text files, one is environment, which is lighting speed shadows fog sun etc, the other is TransparentMaterials, which tells the game where to "erase" part of the texture based on iformation in the texture itself. best part all this "code" is in plain english prety much,

if you want to try
Start Menu
Run
%Appdata%
find space engineers
go to the mods folder,
unzip # 382086123 (which is this skybox) with winzip / winrar to a new folder within the mods folder
open the .sbc files with notepad and play with all the values,
load your folder in singleplayer as a mod to test it
for best results change one thing at a time so you know what it does

yay basic modding tutorial!

i want more peopple to know this stuff so we can have even MORE mods, so get on it !!!! :P

thanks! i WOULD do it myself but i simply dont have the knowledge background to do it, and i woudlnt want to accidently write a supervirus that destroys the worlds internet
with my luck sometimes, thats exactly what i would end up doing too : /

also everyone feel free to edit any of my skyboxes if you know how
NoiD  [author] 28 Jan, 2015 @ 3:37pm
they should just work together if you load them in the right order.

the problem is all i can do to "remove" the mod is set the speed back to default,
its not a seperate thing, its all one file,
which is annoying as hell because speed has nothing to do with the sky,
yet there it is....thanks alot keen.... sory for the rant..

but yeahh. ive had enough requests that im going to have to upload Default Speed skyboxes that overwrite everyones speed back to default so i can deal with that lol....

give me a little time. dont want to flood the workshop more than i have
