Mission
PMC Versus operators will make contact with the NATO captain hiding at the eastern edge of town and exfiltrate him north. The captain must survive.

Situation
October 13th, 2003: Berezniki is under attack. NATO high command (callsign Red Crown) on USS Thorne has picked up multiple fast movers and platoons of СРГА infantry closing in on the town. NATO has been forced withdraw all armor from the town due to the enemy ground assault planes. Complete withdrawal is not an option due to the fact that the battalion's acting airforce commander, captain R. Phillips is still present and surrounded by enemy attackers.

Red Crown has tasked PMC Versus operators (callsign November) to deploy to the town and exfiltrate the battalion's captain. NATO infantry forces have been ordered to hold the town until the captain has been moved safely north. Because of the sudden nature of this mission, November has not been able to equip themselves with ideal weaponry.

Red Crown advices November to make use of the ongoing fighting in the town. Keep out of sight, make use of your NV equipment and silenced weapons and identify your targets before engaging. There are also a group of pylon transformers on the western side of the town near November's insertion point. Red Crown urges November to consider neutralizing the pylons and thus killing all the light in town which will make it easier to remain undetected.

Commission for this operation is 26,000 dollars.

Enemy
The enemy has scrambled at least two fast movers from the south-western airport and NATO armor has withdrawn from the town. Only a platoon sized force of infantry remains and the enemy is attacking with at least three infantry platoons from the south-east and east. Winning this fight is out of the question and Red Crown admits that the town is lost.

Intel indicates that the enemy forces have limited NV capabilities and Red Crown advises November to use this and your light gear to your advantage. If everything goes smoothly, November will not have to fire a single shot. Things rarely go smoothly.
