Medic in Black - (VTF Texture only - to be used with override materials and the $basetexture command)

Description
I've uploaded a team pack, this skin is available in that now.

This is a reskin I did to dress the medic in a black uninform.

To use,

The Workshop texture (vtf) will download to your

common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\materials\models\player\medic

folder.

Load a player or HWM medic... Right click the model and add an override materials then show the model in the element viewer

Scroll down and click the + beside materials then find

For the player model,

1) the medic_red material and expand it,
2) right click on medic_red header name and add a string attribute... name it $basetexture This will turn the player medic's body black and purple,
3) click the data beside the new $basetexture material and add models\player\medic\medic_black2 and hit enter,
4) the player model will turn into the black material

For the HWM model

1) follow the same 4 steps as for the player model to change the body to black
2) You notice that the gloves stayed red.
3) To turn the gloves black,
a) find the medic_sfm_hands_red material,
b) add a new string attribute and name it $basetexture (they'll turn black and purple),
c) then beside the new attribute in the data column add models\player\medic\medic_sfm_hands_black2
d) This will turn the gloves black.

Your models should look like the description picture if done properly

I had planned something like that however because of the way the textures are layed out, evertything is misxed togegther and ppl don't want jellow jackets with yellow pants with yellow gloves, etc. the thexture don't allow mis and match. Also, because of the resolution of the textures themselves, you end up with white lines all though the textures it you try to make a paintable material.

You haven't pointed the $basetexture to any textures. I don't know why that model isn't black and purple checkerboarded...
