Description
Eastern Equine Encephalitis (or "Triple E") is a viral infection caused by the virus Eastern equine encephalitis. It typically infects horses (hence the name "equine encephalitis"), but in extremely rare cases, it can also infect humans through the bite of an infected mosquito. The Triple E virus devours brain cells, leading to seizures, high fever and life threatening inflammation. Most people who contract the disease will die from the condition, and those who do survive, about 90% will experience lasting brain damage.

This map is made for the P2LC Feb 2015 competition, "Lasers".

FAQ
Q: How do I download this?
A: Press the green 'Subscribe' button with the plus sign beside it. It'll download to your Portal 2 workshop maps folder. After that, load Portal 2, go to 'Play Community Test Chambers', 'Play Single Player Chambers' and find 'Eastern Equine Encephalitis'. Click it and click play.

Q: How long did you make this?
A: Quite a few hours over the course of several days.

Q: How did you make this level?
A: Portal 2 Puzzle Creator.

Q: Etymology of the level name?
A: "Eastern Equine Encephalitis" is a viral infection caused by the Eastern equine encephalitis virus. This disease was featured on the documentary "Monsters Inside Me". So yeah.

Q: If this is a PTI map, how did you make the thumbnail a custom one instead of the Puzzle Creator view or the view after entering the chamber?
A: Rebuild and look at the console. Check what is the name of the latest screenshot taken after you enter the chamber. Pause Portal 2 and go to the screenshots folder in Portal 2/portal2/screenshots and replace the latest screenshot with your custom one. Go back to Portal 2 and publish it. There you go.

Great puzzle. At one point I needed some cleansing gel as I got too much blue in the wrong place.

Great map. The ending had my confused because the stairs are invisible.

Excellent puzzle. Probably one of the hardest I've completed without cheating. It took me a while to work out what I need to do and the order, and pulling it off, especially getting the gel on the light bridge up high so you can bounce up with the cube to block the laser catcher to open exit door + raise stairs, took me a while.

lots of fun, not sure what the throwing cube thing is.i didnt do that

The cube throwing ruined the map for me. I had solved the map, however I spent about half an hour trying to throw the cube in the correct position and failed so looked for an alternate solution. Found a very complex way of getting to the final door only to realise it wouldn't open because I did in fact need to throw the cube.

Well all I can say is it took a while to figure out how to get that cube up top. Getting that Gel on the Light Bridge was a Bugger. I don't know how you came up with this stuff but I like it. Thanks for the brain test. Thumbs Up.

I skipped a bit of the puzzle by throwing the cube, but the part I did complete was good. My blindrun: http://youtu.be/bU8CsYnwPsc
