Stinger Turret

Description
A craftable and deployable turret that shoots stingers to defend your base

:STATS:
Damage: 22 (~1/3 of Houndius Shootius) (configurable)
Range: 15 (configurable)
Attack Period: 3 seconds (configurable)
Turret Health: 330 (~1/3 of Houndius) (configurable)
Turret HP regen: 12 hp per 3 seconds
Sanity: Gives sanity (tiny)
Special: freeze/burn/none (configurable)

:RECIPE:

Ingredient:
Easy: Killerbee(2), log(1), rope(1) - requires science machine
Normal: Killerbee(2), log(2), gears(1), nightmarefuel(2) - requires science machine
Hard: Killerbee(2), log(4), gears(2), nightmarefuel(4) - requires alchemy engine
VHard: Killerbee(2), livinglog(1), gears(2), purplegem(1) - requires alchemy engine

Can you please update ? It cant be destroied by hammer and turrets only fire on targets if you begin to attack.

I have yet to download this mod, but I have it for the regular DS. Turrets only fire on targets if you begin to attack. As long as your character says one of their battle shouts with them in range, they’ll open fire. They make great decoys for Frog Rain. One frog will eventually attack one of them, prompting all of them to shoot at the frogs. They will also open fire if you are attacked. Be careful when harvesting bee boxes, as they can kill your bees.

If you're having issues with it not shooting, it's probably scripted to defend mode, meaning only if an animal/monster targets you, or if you attack a target. I haven't tried this yet but I'll see how it goes and report back.

Don't use it.These turrets won't hit anything unless you hit them.they only fight with player.:steamfacepalm:

Are you still maintaining this? After first putting them up they work, but after reloading the world, they don't. They'll shoot us if we throw spears at it, but don't really react to anything else.

And we can't hammer them to remove them.

It would be great to have this work peoperly! :)

A little bugged, sometimes just wont shoot, sometimes start shoot only when i attack, sometimest just doest work( Anyway good mode with more hound attacks mod)) Hope it will be fixed
