Laser grids

Description
Difficulty*: Logical: 8/10 Skill: 4/10 Creativity: 7/10

Summoned for the "Lasers" competition of the P2LC Group.

Lots of lasers and laser devices, but ZERO laser redirection cubes.

*Difficulty is scaled for experimented players, 4/10 matches campain difficulty. Logical is about number of "elementary" steps (portal, pressing a button, jumping,..) you will need to achieve a key stage in puzzle; Skill is about firing portal while jumping, timed moves,.. what is linked to player's moves; ninja's skills (cube jumping, bunny hop,...) is set to 11/10. At last Creativity sets "elementary step" difficulty; high creativity means you will need to use elements in an unusual way (rotate a cube by walking on it, getting height using light bridge or funnel spamming on a white wall,...).

Considering Prototype's solution is intended, I don't like this map. I can't see where the logical "8" comes from when the solution is based on the crouch move, while the rest is super easy. I don't have a problem with the move or maps that are focussed on creativity, but labelled with 8 in logical gave me completely wrong expectations. All the white surfaces and the unnecessary funnels made it way too hard to realize. Although I thought very quickly that it should be impossible to shoot through 3 deactivated fizzlers. Hm. It's sad. However, I can't love every of your maps, so here's a black sheep :)

Thanks for playing (and for blindrun!)

My blind run: http://youtu.be/QD-AXQ081RU , I don't think all the small lasers are required to be used.

Already played them. I'm about to send in my vote :)

Ouf, I don't need to worry anymore :) thanks for playing! Don't miss the others maps from this concept, quite a nice month!

Then there's no unintended solution from what I know, if that's required.
Talisac  [author] 2 Mar, 2015 @ 11:59am
As far as I know: yes ^^' maybe an unintended solution?

I solved the puzzle and I think it's great :)

The only thing I'm wondering: Is crouching (like what Requiemsoul did in his demo) required?
Requiemsoul 26 Feb, 2015 @ 11:57am
Impressive. I feel smart when I solve a Talisac´s map xD.

My ugly demo . I have improvised a bit... like the jazz :)
