Description
The workhorse of today's defense forces, the "Anvil" class medium fighter is the perfect ship to replace the aging "Spigot" class light fighter. It is the first ship new fighter pilots will be assigned to (usually), although some still prefer the "Spigot" class.

Crew: 1 pilot
Armaments: 2 Vulcan cannons
Armor: Light / Medium combination
Mission profile: Escort, Space Superiority, Scout / Reconnaissance

Screenshots don't always tell the whole tale. When you get in game and compare them, you'll see a big difference. It is actually smaller, and has light / medium armor... Where-as the heavy fighter has only heavy armor, more weapons, and is actually larger in size.

Medium fighter looks heavier than the heavy fighter. Consider swapping the names ? other thanthat, nice.
