Description
A replica of a Roman Granary (Horreum) at a Hadrians Wall fort.

SI Compatible.
SI Update 03/03/15 seems to have changed quite a lot as a few weak points have appeared. Redesign required but waiting until hotfixes out. In meantime advise running with SI off. Will update status when fixed.

Granaries were built on raised stilts with cavities below to allow air to circulate through and help prevent the grains stored within from spoiling. Flooring can be removed to allow access to this cavity for maintenance or just looking around. (reference photo in screenshots).

Built in the standard open 1 floor design, a 2 floor design I created is also available here:

Unfortunately the main image the exterior was based on is copyrighted so can't add here however it can be found by searching google images for "Batina Roman granary".

Little interior decoration apart from a few torches as no Large Vase or Amphora blocks available (at some point hopefully will be!). Will update further at that point.

Model could also be used as a general Roman style warehouse (cavity is not noticable unless flooring is removed or not sunk into ground as in note below) . I'll be working on a proper dedicated warehouse at some point though (need to figure out a few things for SI to work though first)

Comments and feedback welcome. As always hope you enjoy :)

Note:
Building is 16 long by 8 wide (allowing for foundations). Designed to be sunk 3/4 a level into ground (this will leave a foundation 1 level below the cavity also). Recommend digging out an area before placing otherwise interior cavity will be filled with terrain.
