The Ghost (Co) is the command model of the Ghost series Drone. It has two laser antennae, allowing it to be controlled at any angle, and redundant standard antennae. Unlike other Ghost models, it is equipped with 2 reactors in addition to the battery. This allows it to perform emergency recharges of its battery, or operate without use of the battery while not moving. In this way, the Command model is designed to sit away from the battle for prolonged periods of time, simply acting as a relay device for other drones to their command ship.

While the Ghost (Re) is also capable of acting as a relay, the Recon variant is cheaper to build and faster, making it a more effective scout. In contrast, the Ghost (Co) is a bit more armored, comes with redundant systems, and is intended for a very behind-the-lines role.

The Ghost is the first of a new wave of drone technology, which was primarily developed to give future cruiser and battleship classes a kind of fire support that was previously lacking against enemy small craft due to their lack of maneuverability. However, given the limited range and capacity of drones, Carriers and their fleets will still primarily make use of manned fighters.
