Mk5 Equipment on Start

Description
Begin the game with upgraded weapons, scanners, and equipment. A new Mk5 Start option is added to the new game menu.

Equipment includes the Sidewinder Mk5 Engine and 2x Dashing Mk5 Shields.

Existing save games will not be effected. However, new games started using the Mk5 Start option will require this mod.

For thoes who do not use Steam Workshop, I've provided a link to download the mod directly.

To install: Just extract the mk5start folder into your "..\X Rebirth\extensions" folder. The mod should now appear in your extensions menu in the game.

I am no longer maintaining this mod and do not know if it even works :)

Beginnen Sie das Spiel mit Waffen aufgerüstet, Scanner, und Ausrüstung. Eine neue Option Mk5 Anfang an das neue Spiel-Menü hinzugefügt.

Bestehende save Spiele werden nicht durchgeführt werden. Allerdings begann neue Spiele mit der Option Mk5 Starten wird diese Mod benötigen.

for me it would be nice, never was able to get it to work since v4.0 i had an mk5 engine then because of some workshop content expiring and no longer available, i was forced to start from scratch. this only woul have help me get back to where i was faster but i have to start a new game when using this or it doesnt show up, if i start a new game, with it, it seems to break the booster. on the mk 2 or higher engines. ill double check and make sure.

I suppose it's useful for people who love easy-street. I won't use it but I can see it's value for people who like different-faster playstyles than myself.

The scenario settings are the same as standard free play.

This mod only creates a start game script that gives you these items. It should not effect previous games. There is a mod created by someone else in the steam workshop that allows you to buy any mk5 equipment.

It will be handy to do the swap out eventually... started the campagn and would have found the gear pretty nifty to have on hand considering how smart the ship looks! (Military Pimp My Skunk)
