Description
A recycling Center,

The main idea behind this recycling center is that its recycles garbage, the materials gained from the garbage are then sold to the market. Therefor the upkeep costs are a lot lower then the incinerator plant. However the costs to buy the building is 50% higher. Which overtime should not be a problem to get back.
The Recycling Center does not generate any power either, since it doesnt burn the garbage. Instead it has a high powerconsumption of about 1440Kw, the water usage is also adjusted, to reflect recycling. We all want clean aluminium right?

Stats

Costs: 45 000
Upkeep: 960 / week

Power usage: 1440 KW
Water usage: 768 m3

Garbage Capacity: 400 000
Process Rate: 48 000
Garbage Trucks 25

Does it make pollution?

You could have it output raw materials such as ore because of the recycled products

Sounds promising. Only I'm thinking that the Recycling trucks collect a differently categorized garbage from buildings that follow a Recycling policy, so they don't collect unless if you have such policy assigned to either your entire city or one of its districts.

Good. If it can produce raw materials, it will be more realistic and more different from Incinerator.

@Sonti,

No, its just the default model, not really worth updating IMO,

Should this appear in the garbage sub-menu? I did verify that the asset is turned on in the content manger window. I started a new city, got to hamlet (or whatever the first city size is called) and checked the garbage menu. I do not see it in there. Does it only appear at a certain city size?

I had so much trouble with garbage and the rate of production vs dump/incineration speed/ground polution. This is the solution! Thanks!
